This year when we booked a week in Smugglers Notch, we were told when we checked in that there were updates to membership and if we met with Wyndham it should take less than an hour. Im a Gold member and my wife and I dont go to the booth to collect their Welcome Package when we arrive at destinations because this is how they try to get you to sign up for their presentations. If Im a timeshare owner I expect to check into my timeshare that I spent thousands on without any hassle or high-pressure sales tactics. We were caught in South Carolina by wyndam telling all the things wyndam could offer us . And off we went to enjoy our free tickets probably at $125 dollar value. Absolutely loathe Wyndham. Im so confused because nothing on the contract is the same as it was in the talks in person. Promises of vacations all over the world yet every time I tried to book there was nothing available yet if I called the hotel directly there were plants of rooms available. They claimed the charge was unpaid maintenance fees?? The salesmans manager was called in to put pressure on us because we did not want to buy. She then spoke to me in a derogatory tone, claiming we was make a huge mistake by not upgrading. I was sick, dizzy, about to pass out and so I told them I wanted to leave several times, but it was like being hit with a jackhammer, just a few minutes wait here let us see what we can do. The pressure of this horror is causing me anxiety and lack of sleep!!! I was also promised all the above. Instead, they are charging me a very high interest on the money that was not paid. Which were told they would then combine the three .. yea ok. At a past meeting we joined, I was told that there was an agreement with Wyndham and its employees that we were to report any pressuring of sales clearly that isnt the case !
